Phuket Bike Rental FAQ

How much does it cost to rent a bike?
Low season (June–September). PCX 160 example: the 7–19-day rate is 350 ฿/day; 30 days entirely within this season cost 5 500 ฿ in total (≈183 ฿/day). These are reference rates. Cross-season rentals are calculated day by day with any cheaper package applied. Rentals longer than 30 days are quoted by a manager.
What documents do I need?
Passport and a valid motorcycle entitlement: a Thai motorcycle licence, or a national category A licence together with the corresponding IDP when required for your licence. We check the documents and record the licence details in the rental contract. The cash deposit starts at 3 000 ฿; your original passport stays with you.
Is there insurance?
The rental includes basic accident-medical cover up to 30,000 ฿, strictly subject to the policy terms and exclusions. This is not comprehensive cover: damage to or theft of the bike and third-party loss may remain the renter's responsibility under the contract. We show the terms before signing.
Is it safe to ride?
Traffic keeps left. Rider and passenger must wear properly fastened helmets; follow road signs and posted speed limits. Do not ride after drinking alcohol. Violations may lead to a fine and may affect insurance cover.
How much is fuel?
~43 ฿/liter. Scooter uses ~2 L/100 km. A 50 km trip costs ~43 ฿ in fuel.

Do I need a license to rent a scooter in Phuket?
Yes. You need a valid motorcycle entitlement: a Thai motorcycle licence, or a national category A licence with the corresponding IDP when required. We check it and record its details in the rental contract. We do not hand over a bike without the appropriate entitlement.
Can I rent a bike in Patong?
Yes, we deliver bikes across Phuket. Right to your hotel or villa — call or message us on WhatsApp.
How much is a monthly bike rental in Phuket?

Which bike is best for beginners?
Honda Scoopy or Yamaha Fino are lighter and lower, but they are only for riders with a valid motorcycle licence and real road experience. If you have never ridden on two wheels, do not learn on Phuket's public roads — choose a car or taxi instead.
